Consultant-Infrastructure Architect
Data Systems International, Inc. (DSI) has an exciting opportunity for an Infrastructure Architect. Position Overview The Infrastructure Architect will install, configure and deploy all DSI software products. In addition, the Infrastructure Architect will design, install, configure and maintain networks (WAN/LAN), servers, access points, RF devices, and other hardware components required to meet client requirements. Skill Requirements Minimum of 2 years experience working in a network integration position including demonstrated experience installing and integrating in a client/server environment. Software installation in a client/server environment, either as a technical consultant or as a technical staff member with significant involvement in the installation process. Thorough knowledge of designing and implementing logical network infrastructure including LAN, WAN and routing protocols. Solid understanding of server class databases (SQL/Server, Oracle) including knowledge of database installation, configuration and maintenance. Preferred Experience Microsoft Windows Server operating system (training or certification). Microsoft Windows SQL/Server or Oracle database (training or certification). Traits Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and oral. Comfortable working with all levels of an organization. High level of initiative and accountability for deliverables and deadlines. Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical users.
