Consultant-Analyst/Designer

Data Systems International, Inc. (DSI) has an exciting opportunity for an Analyst/Designer.

The Analyst/Designer will work within our Client Services Group which is primarily responsible for installing, configuring and deploying DSI’s software products for client organizations.

 

Position Overview

 

The Analyst/Designer will review, understand, and document existing business processes and client requirements and develop solutions to address those needs. The Analyst/Designer will work as a liaison between the implementation team and client personnel to provide expert knowledge about the proposed solutions.

 

Responsibilities


  • Evaluate existing business processes and gather requirements for IT solutions.

  • Develop clear and concise client requirements.

  • Create detailed designs of proposed solutions for others to construct.

  • Provide expert knowledge to clients about use and configuration of ERP system(s) to which proposed solutions will interface.  


Skill Requirements


  • 5+ years of experience implementing ERP systems specifically in manufacturing, distribution or field service environments.

  • Understanding of relational data bases and experience writing database queries.

  • Experience with requirements gathering, scope of work definition, and development of designs to meet requirements.

  • Operational experience in warehouse, inventory, shipping/receiving, or shop floor control areas.

  • Outstanding communication skills.


Education


  • Bachelor’s degree with a technical or business emphasis or 5+ years of experience in ERP implementation within manufacturing distribution.
