Consultant-Analyst/Designer
Data Systems International, Inc. (DSI) has an exciting opportunity for an Analyst/Designer. The Analyst/Designer will work within our Client Services Group which is primarily responsible for installing, configuring and deploying DSI’s software products for client organizations. Position Overview The Analyst/Designer will review, understand, and document existing business processes and client requirements and develop solutions to address those needs. The Analyst/Designer will work as a liaison between the implementation team and client personnel to provide expert knowledge about the proposed solutions. Responsibilities Evaluate existing business processes and gather requirements for IT solutions. Develop clear and concise client requirements. Create detailed designs of proposed solutions for others to construct. Provide expert knowledge to clients about use and configuration of ERP system(s) to which proposed solutions will interface. Skill Requirements 5+ years of experience implementing ERP systems specifically in manufacturing, distribution or field service environments. Understanding of relational data bases and experience writing database queries. Experience with requirements gathering, scope of work definition, and development of designs to meet requirements. Operational experience in warehouse, inventory, shipping/receiving, or shop floor control areas. Outstanding communication skills. Education Bachelor’s degree with a technical or business emphasis or 5+ years of experience in ERP implementation within manufacturing distribution.
