Account Executive - Technology Sales

Summary


DSI is seeking an experienced sales professional to join the DSI Technology Solutions Group.  This is an outside sales opportunity with responsibility to grow the DSI Hardware Solutions by determining the best hardware, software, services and training for new and existing customers.




     


Our ideal candidate will be able to juggle multiple opportunities at the same time in order to build a large and sustainable pipeline.  He or she must have a detail-oriented approach to managing every aspect of the sales process, from the initial prospecting through the close of an opportunity.

Required Experience


·         Minimum of 3 years proven Enterprise Server and/or Storage hardware sales experience.

·         Strong presentation skills.

·         Proven self-starter with successful track record of increasing revenue in an assigned territory.

·         Strong drive that thrives in a results-oriented culture.

·         Excellent oral and written communication skills.

·         Proven long term relationships in the local markets and surrounding territories.


Preferred Experience


·         Knowledge of any or all of the following platforms would be desirable: IBM, NetApp, EMC, or HP as well as experience in selling Storage Virtualization, BladeCenter, High Availability, and Security solutions. Technical and Sales Certifications on key products and solutions would be strongly preferred.
