DSI Acquires Unibar Inc.
Strategic acquisition of Unibar's barcode and radio frequency identification (RFID) software expands DSI's product portfolio and enterprise client base.
Overland Park, Kansas (May 29, 2009) — Data Systems International® (DSI), a leading global provider of enterprise mobility solutions, today announced the acquisition of Unibar Inc.
Since 1996, Unibar Inc. has been a leading provider of high performance enterprise barcode and RFID printing software for UNIX, Linux, and Windows providing easy-to-use, cost-effective solutions for hundreds of companies.

In addition to providing software solutions through traditional methods, Unibar also offers barcode printing solutions through Software-as-a-Service and subscription-based service models to print barcodes directly from the web. Unibar's platform-independent software is Oracle certified.
