DSI Releases Newest Versions of Unibar Enterprise Labeling Software
Announcement includes release of dcLINK service packs and rebranding of Unibar product line
Overland Park, Kansas (August 24, 2009) — Data Systems International® (DSI) today announced release of the newest versions of the popular Barcode 2000™ multi-platform label printing solution developed by its recently acquired Unibar Inc. subsidiary. With this new release, DSI has rebranded the products as part of the Unibar® Enterprise Labeling Software™ (ELS) product suite:
- Unibar® ELS Standard™ is high-performance label design and printing software that operates on UNIX, Linux, and Windows platforms, using data from standard applications and databases to output barcode labels.
- Unibar® ELS Enterprise™ adds advanced barcode functionality and RFID label printing to Unibar ELS Standard, as well as optional XML capabilities to support XML printing from Oracle Warehouse Management System (WMS), Oracle Mobile Supply Chain Applications (MSCA), and other XML applications.
This latest product release includes new barcode symbologies that give users more flexibility, capacity, and options for their barcode and RFID labels. The release also includes enhancements to the user interface and help systems.
Unibar ELS Enterprise is the preferred barcode and RFID printing solution for DSI's dcLINK® mobile data collection solution. DSI also released service packs for dcLINK® that enable dcLINK 4.2 and dcLINK 5.0 to utilize Unibar ELS Enterprise as their label printing solution.
