Users can interact with dcLINK VOICEActivator successfully without undergoing voice training. The application uses a select set of keywords and responses that are user configurable, so that it can understand users with heavy accents or mild speech irregularities. Users can also use any of the non-Unicode languages supported by dcLINK.

dcLINK VOICEActivator utilizes speech-to-text (STT) and text-to-speech (TTS) technologies to support user input and computer response. It operates on voice-enabled data collection hardware from leading manufacturers that support robust speech circuitry and high-quality, noise-canceling microphones that eliminate the background noises common on the shop floor and in the warehouse. For added flexibility, the application can operate on voice-enabled data collection devices that also incorporate bar code or RFID scanners and display screens.
Voice-Enable Your dcLINK Transactions
Because dcLINK VOICEActivator is part of dcLINK, there are no new tools to learn and no add-in components to configure separately. You decide which processes to voice-enable. Your existing transactions will be available and voice-enabled. You'll even have the ability to decide when your business process should require multiple inputs — such as voice and bar code, or voice and RFID — and what process flow to follow once the voice command is spoken.
